The Details

What is a Nesting Party?

A nesting party can be many things… but typically it is a party thrown for an expectant mama to help her get the house prepped for baby and for the postpartum period.

It can include meal prep, furniture building, organization, laundry and more!

A changing table in a nursery with a smiley sun and a raccoon holding an umbrella painted on the wall above. The table has compartments labeled for baby supplies and there are various items on the surface and in a nearby basket.

Why have a party instead of hiring you to do it?

Truth be told, I would love to come organize for you! And if that is what you’d prefer… click here!

However, having a nesting party can be beneficial in many ways. Some of the benefits include: it is a more cost effective option; other things get done in addition to organizing; you get to include your friends and family; things get done much quicker; IT’S FUN!

Why should I hire a host?

So often I hear women say “I’m having a nesting party… but I don’t think we will get anything done.” And I’m here to change that. I believe that nesting parties can and should be fun… but the ultimate purpose is to bring a sense of preparedness and peace to our expectant mamas. A host (aka me) will keep the momentum going, delegate the tasks and bring my expertise.

What Is Included?

  • A beige envelope, a blank white card, and a small bouquet of purple flowers with green leaves on a white surface.

    Personalized Invitations

I will send out personalized virtual invitations to all of your guests. Coordinate based on their skillset, send reminders and be your host and liaison.

  • A cluster of colorful balloons with white polka dots, tied to a white stand in front of a white brick wall backdrop, with white candles on a shelf below.

    3 Hour Party

You and up to 6 of our closest family and friends will get together to work on whatever you have deemed a priority! And I am there to delegate, motivate and work alongside you. This could be meal prepping, building furniture, doing laundry, setting up the nursery, writing thank yous, or even cleaning. The possibilities are (almost) endless.

  • A white paper cup with a metal straw on a white desk, next to a stack of papers and an orange pencil.

    Prep and Planning

We will meet via zoom a month before the party. I will learn all of your hopes and expectations. I'll also learn about your home, your guests and we can even talk a little about the baby on board! If anything needs done in advance, we will come up with a gameplan. We want to be able to hit the ground running when your guests/helpers arrive.

  • A mint green door with four white wire storage baskets attached to a vertical pegboard, located in a kitchen or laundry area with green cabinetry, a trash bin, and a countertop with a silver air purifier and a small container.

    Favorite Product List

While I do have some favorite baby products, that I'm happy to share... you'll receive a list of my favorite organizing items for both baby/nursery and for parents.

    My Expertise

Not only am I a professional organizer, but I am a mom. And I have been a manager many times over. I bring all of these skills to your home to make the most of our time together. I can keep your guests on tasks but also make sure that everyone is having a good time. And I will organize right alongside you and your friends.

  • Meal Prep Measuring Spoon- Helping expectant mothers prep for babys arrival

    Meal Prep Menu

Some of my expectant mothers don't love to cook, or don't have the stamina to be in the kitchen for a long time. Meal prepping can be done by some of your guests to load up your freezer for when baby arrives, and you have even less ambition/energy to be in the kitchen. We want you to get all of the baby snuggles, and not worry if you've eaten that day!
